Our lineage comes from the Sacred Dance movement that has been fostered by the Findhorn Community. Bernard Wosien was a pioneer in recovering traditional dances as a form of worship, Anna Barton has been a "midwife" of the movement. We are grateful to the many teachers that have led to the formation of our group, namely John and Marina Bear and above all Linnea Lindroth.
Linnea learned and taught Sacred Circle Dance in Tennessee for a considerable number of years. She brought her extensive expertise and exuberance with her to the Twin Cities and periodically facilitated Circle Dance gatherings for several years in the early 2000's, when White Ash, who studied with Anna Barton at Findhorn, would step in to lead a dance or two.
Since Linnea moved to California in 2003, White Ash, Emily and Elizabeth, with the help of Barbara and other attendees, have been co-facilitating our gatherings.
